This is our last Christmas in July post for this year! Wow time really flies… We hope these posts have been helpful. We know since we started doing Christmas in July last year it’s been a huge help in making December less stressful for us.
Today we want to show you another super easy DIY. Not only is it cute and quick to make but it also helps us remember the reason for the Christmas season. You can make it real quick to keep your front porch festive or it works perfect as a thoughtful neighbor gift.
What you need:
1 piece of red or green card stock
a little wooden star
yellow paint for the star
a wallet size picture frame
a wallet size Christmas picture
First cut your 2×6 to measure 11 inches long. Sand it smooth. You can paint it or leave it with a natural wood look.
Paint your wooden star yellow and put the picture in the frame.
Print off your Printable Here on your card stock. Cut it to size and Modge Podge onto the board. Let dry and Modge Podge the front for extra protection.
Take a hot glue gun and attach the frame and the star. Done!
We have had a lot of fun sharing our ideas with you! Everything from A “Chili” Christmas Gift, and “Souper” Gift Ideas for neighbors to DIY Holiday Pillowcases, DIY Personalized Christmas Ornaments and DIY Indoor/Outdoor Herb Garden has been a blast to make.
