DIY Patriotic Display. Remembering those who have fought for our freedoms. Perfect for decor or a center piece at the picnic

With all the fun that comes with celebrations for the 4th of July we like to take time and remember those who fought and continue to fight for our freedoms. This little craft is a good way to stay in the spirit of the Holiday. It is pretty easy and fast to make so it’s great for last minute decor. It would look really cute on your front porch or as a quick centerpiece at the picnic.

Supplies:

1 2×6

3 mini flags

red and white striped scrapbook paper

blue scrapbook paper

large white star

Cut 2×6 to desired length (we cut ours to 15”). Paint if desired. Drill three holes on top for the flags. Print the saying on red and white paper. Cut to size and Modge Podge it on. Modge Podge the blue paper on (our blue paper is really thick and sparkly so we had to hot glue it on). Hot glue the star on and stick the flags in.
