Let’s face it… Everyone needs a little TLC now and then! We love to look for little things that help in a big way. This Relaxing Foot or Bath Soak is totally one of the best we have tried!
We have found that the Epsom salt helps us relax, de-stress and fall asleep better at night. The baking soda helps to soften our skin.
Relaxing Foot or Bath Soak
- 2 cups Epsom salt
- 2 cups baking soda
- 2 heaping Tbs. chamomile
- 2 heaping Tbs. lavender flowers
- 2 Tbs. plantain
- 2 Tbs. passion flower
- 2 Tbs. hops
- 1 Tbs. powdered ginger (optional, ginger is very warming- it will warm you up and detoxify)
Combine all ingredients in a glass jar and shake well. Store with a tight lid.
To use, add ¼ cup to very warm water (careful to not get burned!) and soak your feet to blissful relaxation! Or add 1 cup to a bath and soak.
We have found it’s best to use a glass or enamel bowl. Plastic or metal will work too but they aren’t ideal. We were able to find a large enamel dish washing type pan that would be used when camping.
