“Souper” Gift Ideas - Really cute for a housewarming, wedding or Christmas in July gift! Plus a free printable!

We have another Christmas in July idea for you today! As we have said earlier, we like to start preparing now for Christmas to help relieve some of the time and financial stress in December .

We are not able to eat canned soup because we have pretty serious allergic reactions to the MSG and other preservatives. However our friends and neighbors really enjoy it. Everyone can use a really quick and easy dinner during the holidays right? Then when they come home exhausted from the mall they know there is something waiting for them.

With this in mind we watched the ads for sales on cans of soup. We were able to get some for about $1.00 each! When you are on a tight budget that is pretty nice. Another benefit about this is you can give a couple of cans and a “Merry Christmas” or you can dress it up a little with some muffin or biscuit mix, hot pads, soup mugs, a ladle etc. depending on your budget. Several of these can even be purchased at the dollar store if you have one close by.

What we did here is we found a cute pail and took a couple cans of soup, a couple of mugs, some muffin and biscuit mixes and a ladle. Put them all together and you have a cute little dinner all ready to go! This would also be a really fun housewarming gift as well.

For neighbor gifts we took a couple of cans added a cute printable (that you can download here) and added a bow. Tah dah! Ready to go.
