Halloween is on it’s way! We just finished our cute Pumpkin Crafts and decided to tackle another. We love cute decorations (none of this crazy, scary stuff for us) and these little Trick or Treaters have been a blast to make. One of the things we like about this project the most is that you can really just let your imagination run wild! We each made our own and they were all different even if we made the same costumes. There are so many options. This is the perfect Halloween craft for kids of all ages 😉
They are a cinch to make!
Some suggested materials:
The only required materials are a hot glue gun, terracotta pots (we used 3-inch and 2-inch pots) and wooden balls (we used 2-inch and 1-inch) for the heads. You want the “balls” to have a flat side so they can attach to the pot easier. After that you can really use anything that sounds fun. Felt in assorted colors, yarn in assorted colors, acrylic paint in assorted colors, pom poms, googly eyes, colored pipe cleaners. The sky is the limit!
Your pot and ball will make to base for your Trick or Treater.
You can do several things with your pot. You can paint it.
Cover it in felt.
Or use some fabric.
For hair you can use felt.
Or even some jute.
The accessories are always fun! You can really play around and make anything you can imagine!
Give these cute little guys (and gals) a try and let us know how it goes! We always love to hear from you 🙂
