Flu season is on it’s way. Kids go to school, we go to work, grocery shopping. Even parties and church can be places we are exposed to illness. No one wants to be sick especially with the holidays coming around. Never fear! We’ve got an all natural DIY Antibacterial Soap made with essential oils that is just perfect for this time of year. Plus you can make it in about 5 minutes flat. How’s that for “Easy Peasy?”

After some research, it’s sad to see that the majority of store-bought antibacterial soaps are not very effective and can even be bad for you! They can potentially lead to health problems by destroying the good bacteria and may disrupt hormone function. Even the FDA has taken notice! So what now? This is where essential oils come in.

Essential oils have literally been used for thousands of years. We personally have been using them for more than 15 years. This soap is inexpensive and very effective. Plus, it smells amazing! Does it get any better than that?

Now, we have used a couple different oils and sometimes combine a few singles for extra fun. You can do the same if you like! Just be careful about using citrus if you are going to spend much time out in the sun because of a possible phototoxic reaction. Also use caution if pregnant especially with Peppermint.

We’ve added some of our favorite antibacterial essential oils below. We hope this wonderful soap helps your family as much as it has ours!
