Have friends who are just looking into natural health? These tools are a great place to start!
The Cheapest Massage Ever
We like to call this little gadget The Cheapest Massage Ever for the simple reason that- it is! Check out our post for all the wonderful details! Family members will be begging for a turn.
Foot Soaking Kit
What is more wonderful than a Relaxing Foot Soak? We really like to use big dish washing bowls like this one because of the ease. Check out our recipe for a soak that will put you to sleep. Give these away as gifts and your family and friends will love you forever!
There are so many benefits to using Essential Oils! Everything from cuts and migraines to flu symptoms and stomach aches. We have been using Essential Oils for years and years and our favorite brand by far is Butterfly Express. They are a tried and true brand that we know we can trust. Having a starter kit can be a great gift for anyone who is looking to give Essential Oils a try.
Know someone who is looking for answers to their health questions? These resources have been life changing for us! We are sure they will be a blessing for your love ones as well.
Hungry for Change
This documentary has taught us more than we can properly express! It focuses so beautifully on health and nutrition. There is so much taught in such an understandable way. Very, very well done and a gift that is irreplaceable!
Fat Sick and Nearly Dead
Two more documentaries that are every bit as good as Hungry for Change! Once again there are huge life changing lessons that really help answer questions for those seeking greater health.
Eat to Live by Dr. Joel Fuhrman
There is so much to gain from reading this book! Dr. Fuhrman is very knowledgeable about health and nutrition and has had so much success helping people regain their health. He is the author of one of our favorite quotes: “The more you eat green the sooner you’re lean.”
The Amazing Results of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale
Mental health is every bit as important as physical health. It is also just as curable! This is a book that we would suggest to anyone and everyone who may struggle with anxiety, depression or simply feels they could enjoy greater happiness.
There are so many good methods of exercise! Not all methods work for all people though. Here are just a few of our favorite methods and tools that we have found to be beneficial.
Yoga for Stress Relief DVD
Yoga is one of the most gentle yet most effective types of exercise. It helps restore and relax the body so it can heal properly. This DVD is great because you can cater your routine to work for you.
Yoga over 50 DVD
Know someone who is over 50 and looking to increase their health? Because of the gentleness of yoga it’s a fantastic place to start! Once again this DVD lets you customize your routine to what works best for you.
A gift as simple as a yoga mat can really go a long way! Whether your loved one is a long time yogi or is just looking in to starting, a mat is a fun gift that is very handy.
Just like having a fun yoga mat having a few accessories is great for any yogi or yoga beginner!
We LOVE T-Tap! It’s a very thorough and smart workout program. It tones and strengthens without building lots of bulk. Plus it’s really fun!
We talk a lot about kitchen tools and their usefulness in making eating healthy easier (as seen in Top 10 Tools to Make Clean Eating Easy Peasy and 7 Tools to Help Keep Lunch at Work Healthy). Here are a few that we feel are perfect gifts for any health conscious chef!
Mini Crock Pot
If you are looking for a way to eat healthier at work this gadget is just for you! Whatever you had for dinner the night before (soup, casseroles, roasts, enchiladas, etc.) is simply put in one of these, stored in the fridge at work and warmed up when it’s lunchtime. How’s that for convenience?!
Glass Water Bottle
If roughly 75% of our bodies are made up of water it’s important to keep it as clean as we possibly can. Glass is a great way to do that! This way you avoid toxins that are found in plastic. These bottles are great to grab before a quick run, a long drive or heading out to work.
Nutribullets are lifesavers for anyone who is busy and still focused on eating healthy. They make it incredibly easy to get lots of good nutrients in the shortest amount of time.
Berkey Water Filter
Roughly 75% of our bodies are made up of water. With that in mind it only makes sense that if that 75% is made up of water filled with toxins like chlorine and fluoride then our we will not feel good. We love Berkey because they take water filtration so seriously that they have surpassed militarily standards. We have used their filter for years and could not be more pleased. And the water tastes GREAT!
One of the best tricks to eating healthy is packing your dishes with as many veggies as possible. The only struggle we had with this is the time it took to stand there and chop them all by hand. This gadget is a real lifesaver! It has cut our prep time in half.
Imagine a crock pot that works in minutes instead of hours. That’s a pressure cooker! They cook up anything from roasts, veggies, potatoes, and grains, to beans and soups in no time. This method of cooking also adds tons of good flavor since all of the good juices are locked in while it cooks.
Instead of mashing refried beans by hand or scooping squash soups into a food processor to make it smooth you simply immerse and go! It’s great for salsa if you don’t want it quite as chunky, makes tomato soup nice and smooth and really works for any dish that needs a little mixing/blending.
We LOVE Theo Chocolate! It’s a pure and fun treat that is perfect for any stocking. We all need a treat every now and then and this one is guilt free.
We hope these gift ideas help you and yours enjoy greater health and happiness! They are fun to give and fun to get so don’t be afraid to send this list to your husband or friends 😉
