We are only on day 4 (of our Word of Wisdom 30 Day Health Challenge) and we have already noticed some cool improvements! Serious sugar cravings have always been a huge struggle… Chocolate cravings especially. Even after just 4 days the cravings are gone! We didn’t think we would see benefits quite this soon. It’s very exciting!

 

For breakfast we mixed it up a little by having a green smoothie. It’s one of our favorite smoothies and it goes along with Dr. Fuhrman’s theme. “The more you eat green the sooner you’re lean.” This smoothie is packed with nutrition and good fats. From the first time we tried it it has been something we crave often. You can make if for any meal if you are in a hurry. It whips up super fast. It’s tastes great with some whole grain toast.

Easy Peasy Green Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 2 avocados
  • 3 cups spinach
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 apples
  • Honey or Stevia to taste
  • Enough raw milk or coconut water to fill your blender

Directions

Blend all ingredients in blender or Vita Mix until smooth. Enjoy!

Here’s our daily report!

Breakfast was our green smoothie of course!

We were in a huge rush for lunch today so we made a quick veggie sandwich on sourdough bread. We like to use bell peppers, olives, spinach, tomatoes, avocado, lettuce, grated carrots, Bubbies sauerkraut, and cucumbers.

Dinner… Okay keeping it real here! It was quite the night… So we really didn’t have dinner. We snacked on stuff here and there. Thank goodness for tomorrow’s to try again!

Who would have thought we would kick sugar craving this soon?! It certainly is encouraging!
