We must be in a breakfast food kind of mood because that is what we want to share with you again today! Kamut and Fruit Salad. Chef Brad inspired this recipe in his show Fusion Grain Cooking. His show is all about combining grains into everyday meals. We highly suggest you check out his recipes they are fantastic! Kamut and Fruit Salad

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cooked Kamut
  • ¼ cup chia seeds
  • ½ cup raspberries
  • ½ cup blueberries
  • ½ blackberries
  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 2 apples
  • 2 bananas
  • 2 Tbs. honey or agave
  • Tbs. lime juice
  • chopped nuts and coconut for garnish

Directions

Whisk together honey and lime juice. Combine all other ingredients. Pour lime and honey over the top and mix gently until coated. Top with nut and coconut garnish.

Our breakfast food today was Kamut and Fruit Salad of course! Delicious and VERY filling.

Leftover Black Bean Sliders and a delicious Cilantro Lime Quinoa Salad for lunch. Quinoa is one of our all time favorite seeds! It goes great with sooo many things and has great fiber.

Leftovers for dinner too! Don’t you just love them?! We had our quinoa salad again and some fresh homemade Pico. Both were fabulous.
