Ingredients

Directions

Combine dry ingredients. Mix together well. Add wet ingredients and stir until combined. Cook in a waffle iron and enjoy!
Note: if you don’t have buttermilk on hand supplement by adding 1 Tbs. vinegar to 3 cups milk.
This recipe also works fantastic as pancake batter. We like to top it with fresh strawberry syrup!

Strawberry Syrup:

Slice 3 cups of fresh or frozen strawberries into a saucepan. Drizzle 1-2 Tbs. Honey over top. Add ¼th cup water and heat until strawberries start to soften. Blend with an immersion blender until smooth.

My kids love waffles, and would go nuts if I served them these! Good to know that strawberries have so many health benefits, too. They’re probably my favorite berry.
