Vegan Beef Flavoring - Homemade bouillon without harmful ingredients! #cleaneating #Vegan #nomsg

One thing we have tried time and time again to find is bouillon without MSG and other harmful ingredients. Not too long ago we discovered how to make Veggie Bouillon Powder and we use it in all kinds of fun recipes (like our Perfect Spinach Patties).

Last week as we were making our Veggie Sticks we tried using our latest bouillon creation. Vegan “Beef” Flavoring. It was a huge hit! It’s so nice to have a large jar all made up and on hand for any dish that you want to add some extra flavor to.

Vegan “Beef” Flavoring

Put all ingredients in a Mason jar and cover with lid. Shake until well combined. Use as you would a beef bullion cube. 1 – 1 ½ tsp. = 1 bouillon cube with no MSG!

What are some of your favorite things to keep on hand?

How is it that this recipe TASTES LIKE a BEEF bouillon cube rather than a Chicken or vegetable bouillon?? For instance, When making a recipe for chicken bouillon powder people use NUTRITIONAL YEAST. They say it “tastes like” chicken or “smells like” a chicken flavor.
You on the other hand use ALL spices, so am wondering WHAT exactly gives this a BEEF taste? Curious

I hate all the artificial-ness in those bouillon cubes, so I’m definitely going to have to try this homemade blend!

  3. Oh wow! This is cool! I know you’re sharing it as a vegan “beef” flavouring but it’s also a good all rounder seasoning!!
