If you are anything like us you love quick, easy go-to recipes. We want to share with you one that we use on almost a daily basis. We use it for everything! Scones, dinner rolls, pizza crust, hamburger buns, bread sticks, seriously everything! It’s whole wheat but still light and yummy!
Do Everything Dough
- 4 cups warm water
- 4 Tbs. honey
- 4 tsp. Real Salt
- ½ cup melted butter
- 4 eggs
- 8 cups fresh ground whole wheat flour (more or less)
- 2 Tbs. organic yeast
We use THIS yeast. It is non GMO and has never failed us! We are in LOVE!
Using KitchenAid or Bosch and the dough hook, combine all ingredients in the order listed. Make sure the yeast rests on top of the flour. Add only enough flour to make a very soft dough. Knead for 4-6 minutes. Shape into desired form and let rise until doubled. Note: if doing scones or pizza crust you don’t need to let it rise. Bake at 350º until lightly browned.

Breakfast was left over Veggie Quiche. We made it yesterday and it is yummy!
Leftovers for lunch too! Don’t you just love days like this?! You can find our recipe for Squoodles and Spaghetti Squash with Marinara Sauce HERE. We ran out of Squoodles and Spaghetti Squash so we just used pasta. Green beans were on the menu as well. Gotta love veggies!
Dinner was very light again tonight. We had scones and more green beans. Please tell us we aren’t the only ones who have days like this!
