Easy Peasy Meatless Burgers - Full of flavor and great texture. They don't fall apart! #CleanEating #RealFood #Meatless #FactsNotFads

Do you sometimes just start to crave a yummy burger? January may seem like kind of a random time, but we certainly have been! Even though we have nothing against a beef patty from time to time we also really love a good veggie burger or bean burger. Yum!

Over the years we have really refined the art of meatless burgers. When we first started experimenting they were really crumbly and would fall apart. Now we have found how to keep them together with tons of fantastic flavor (as seen by our Perfect Spinach Patties and Black Bean Burgers). We also discovered that one of the secrets is a special pan. Using an enamel cookie sheet to cook the patties on is a lifesaver! It helps them crisp up and stay together wonderfully!

Put these lovely burgers with a Veggie Tray and some French Onion dip or maybe a Creamy Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta Salad or Forbidden Rice Veggie Salad and you have a healthy meal that the whole family can enjoy! Even if it’s in January 😉

Easy Peasy Meatless Burgers

Ingredients

Directions

Mash black beans with a fork. It can be a rough mashing you can leave some whole beans. Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix until everything is well incorporated. Shape into patties and bake at 425º on a greased enamel cookie sheet for 5-15 minutes. Flip patties over and cook until they are brown and crisp on both sides. Place on a bun and top with favorite burger toppings.

If you need a yummy recipe for burger buns give our Quick Rolls a try! They are fast, easy and super tasty!

  6. Awesome recipe! These meatless burgers look so plump, juicy and delicious! Will flaxseed or a vegan egg replacer work well with this recipe?

Thank you so much! We are glad you liked it. We have never tried an egg replacer with this recipe but it should still work great! The eggs are just act as a binder so as long as they do that you’re good! Thanks for dropping by 🙂

These sound scrumptious. I haven’t eaten beef in over 40 years, so I don’t crave burgers, but am always up for trying a new veggie variety! Thanks for sharing. Pinning!
