It’s cranberry season! Along with Green Bean Casserole, Banana Cream Pie and Gingered Fruit Salad. Yes, Thanksgiving is on it’s way! There is so much to enjoy about this season and cranberries are a favorite around here. This punch is a wonderful non-alcoholic drink to serve at the big feast. It’s tasty, quick to whip up and full of health promoting ingredients.
Cranberry juice can strengthen the immune system, relieve stress, prevent kidney stones, prevent cancer, aid weight loss and prevent tooth decay. It’s pretty incredible stuff! (source)
Orange juice is well known for it’s high vitamin C content. It can reduce inflammation in the body, promote healthy blood pressure, balance cholesterol, prevent cancer and stimulate the immune system. (source)
Concord Grapes can lower blood pressure, boost memory, lower oxidative stress, promote heart health and they contain both vitamin C and manganese. (source)
Each of these ingredients are packed with nutrients and flavor. Remember to keep them organic and 100% juice otherwise you could be adding a lot of unnecessary ingredients into your delicious punch. Let’s have some punch!
Cranberry Harvest Punch
- 4 cups orange juice
- 4 cups grape juice
- 1 cup Just Cranberry juice
- orange slices and cranberries to garnish
Stir all ingredients together and enjoy!
