We never feel better than when we have a salad at least once a day! That was a really big part of our Word of Wisdom 30 Day Health Challenge. They are light and quick and easy to make.
One thing we did notice though is that salads can get a little old unless you mix up the ingredients and dressings from time to time. With that in mind we came up with 85 Salad Fixings! Any of these would taste great on a wrap too. Enjoy!
Oranges (mandarin, tangerine etc.)
Borage (flowers or small leaves)
Strong cheese (gouda, blue cheese, Parmesan, feta, etc.)
Nuts and Seeds
Ground flax seed
Popped sorghum (one of our favorites!)
Teff (can be added raw or cooked)
Beans and Legumes
Olives (black or green)
Mushrooms (raw or slightly sautéed with and onion)
Onion (green, red or yellow)
Cabbage (red or green)
Bubbies sauerkraut (or any fermented foods!)
Sweet potatoes (raw)
