Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries - A healthy and easy snack that the whole family will love! #RealFood #Veggies #CleanEating #omega3s

Welcome to another wonderful What’s Up Wednesday! We have a very special recipe to share with you today. As part of Dr. Sears health coaching course we’ve been learning about the importance of Omega-3’s. We are simply loving this course and all we are learning! Kathy is now a Certified Health Coach through Dr. Sears! Yay!!

One thing Dr. Sears suggests is to add a little bit of flax seed oil to ketchup when you are eating homemade fries. Now, we simply adore homemade fries at our house and decided to give it a try! The thought of adding the flax seed oil sounded a little interesting but we really enjoyed it!

We are also sharing Dr. Sear’s Rosemary Sweet Potato Fries with you today! They are full of delicious flavor and are a really great family treat. We always use avocado oil when we make fries because the high smoke rate makes it a much healthier option. Sweet potatoes are also very good for you. They are packed with fiber and are a deliciously sweet vegetable!

Ingredients

Directions

Cut sweet potatoes into fries. Drizzle avocado oil onto an enamel baking pan (enamel pans help make the fries nice and crispy) Place fries on the pan and sprinkle rosemary on top. Stir around to coat the fries with the oil and rosemary. Bake at 425º until tender crisp. Stir a couple of times during the cooking process. They will be lightly browned when cooked.
