Clean Eating Caramel Apple Dip
Clean Eating Caramel Apple Dip – A fantastic healthy Halloween treat!
Halloween is almost upon us! It’s the time of year when all the candy goes on sale and everyone rushes out to get some. While we’ve never been very big on the Halloween candy tradition, we do like to make our own healthier treats. Every year we each pick one of our favorite treats, curl up in a cozy blanket on the couch and watch It’s the Great Pumpkin Charlie Brown. Seriously! Life doesn’t get any better than that 🙂
This recipe was a cinch to put together! We took our Buttermilk Syrup recipe and turned it into caramel! Put that with some gorgeous organic apples (from our orchard! Yay!) and you have quite the treat
Now this recipe does have sugar. Usually we use honey and/or maple syrup in our recipes instead. However, we honestly feel that a little bit of a sugary treat isn’t a bad thing at all. You just don’t want to do it all the time. We make sure we always use organic sugar. This ensures that it has not been bleached and remains pure. There are also no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives in this recipe unlike standard candy bars. We also make sure to use real vanilla not an artificial version. If you are going to have a sweet treat this Halloween, Clean Eating Carmel Apple Dip is really a fantastic choice!
