Clean Eating Peach Salsa – If you love salsa and if you love peaches then this recipe is just for you! Healthy, “Easy Peasy,” and packed with nutrition. Great for a healthy snack!

It’s peach season! Is there a better fruit than peaches? We don’t get them very often where we live so it’s always a treat when our fruit trees start to ripen. Another thing we love every bit as much as peaches is salsa. Why not combine the two? It’s tasty, “Easy Peasy” and full of health promoting ingredients!

Peaches have antioxidant properties. They can also help prevent cancer, aid eye health, combat obesity-related disorders, aid digestion and can help ease stress and anxiety because of their magnesium content! Onions can have cardiovascular benefits, help protect against cancer and be anti-inflammatory.

Bell peppers contain vitamin C, vitamin K and magnesium. They boost the immune system, are heart healthy and can reduce inflammation.

We haven’t even covered cilantro, jalapeño peppers or garlic yet! There are so many reasons to enjoy a fresh bowl of salsa. Especially as winter months and the flu season approaches. Clean Eating Peach Salsa


1 small red onion, chopped
4 cloves garlic, chopped fine
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and chopped
1 red or green bell pepper, chopped
½ cup cilantro, chopped fine
15-20 peaches, diced
Real Salt to taste

Gently toss all ingredients together in a large glass bowl. Serve with organic tortilla chips.
