Fall is such a beautiful time of year! All the leaves are falling and changing and the garden is yielding it’s last harvest. We’ve had such lovely fruit this year we couldn’t help but create a special recipe just for fruit with a syrup that leaves you craving more and more. Fresh, quick, nutritious and absolutely divine!

Apples are a great source of fiber, can help prevent cancer, aid digestion, aid respiratory health and even help protect against heart disease!

Peaches have antioxidant properties. They can also help prevent cancer, aid eye health, combat obesity-related disorders, aid digestion and can help ease stress and anxiety because of their magnesium content!

Raw Honey contains antioxidants which can help protect the body from cell damage. Raw Honey is also known for it’s antibacterial and antifungal properties and can aid digestion.

Cinnamon contains both fiber and calcium with can protect against heart disease and help with colon health. Just the scent of cinnamon alone can boost brain function. It’s also anti-inflammatory and anti-microbial.

Cardamom is a literal powerhouse of nutrition! It contains vitamin C and B6, manganese, magnesium, iron and zinc. It can have health benefits such as helping to control cholesterol levels, aiding digestive health, improving heart health and it is anti-inflammatory. Not to mention it has fantastic flavor and is a natural sweetener!

Put these delicious Kabobs with some Halloween Chili, a Pumpkin Scone or some Secret Ingredient Hot Cacao and you are all ready for a healthy and tasty fall!

Ingredients

¼ cup honey
¼ cup maple syrup
2 Tbs. cream cheese, room temperature
½ tsp. cinnamon
⅛ tsp. freshly grated nutmeg
½ tsp. cardamom
Directions
Combine all ingredients and mix well.

Desired fruit, we like pears, peaches, grapes, pineapple, apples, etc.

Directions

Place fruit on a bamboo stick and dip into syrup.
