Cauliflower “Hot Wings”

Cauliflower. It’s everyone’s darling these days! It’s easy to see why too. It’s a beautiful vegetable, it has wonderful sweetness and texture AND it’s very healthy. We’ve been experimenting with vegetable recipes lately. We’re shaking things up a bit and trying different variations. Today we want to share our Cauliflower “Hot Wings.” Oh-My-Goodness! You are in for a real treat. There is so much amazing flavor and texture that you can’t even tell from the taste that it’s cauliflower. Perfect for picky eaters. 😉

Cauliflower “Hot Wings”
Remember to keep your ingredients organic for optimum nutrition!
Ingredients
1 head cauliflower, cut into bite-sized pieces
¼ cup butter
2-4 cloves garlic, sliced
1 ½ cups water
½ cup whole wheat flour
½ cup cornmeal
1 tsp. Real Salt
¼ tsp. black pepper
¼ tsp. cayenne
¼ tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. onion powder
1 tsp. paprika
1-2 Tbs. honey
¼ cup chipotle sauce
Directions
Melt butter on a cookie sheet in a 425º oven. In a bowl, combine water, flour, cornmeal, salt, pepper, cayenne, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Mix well. Spread garlic on melted butter. Drop cauliflower into flour mixture and stir to coat. Place on cookie sheet and bake until tender crisp. Depending on the size of your cauliflower, this should only take 10-15 minutes. While baking, stir together honey and chipotle sauce. Remove cauliflower from oven and brush with honey mixture. Return to heat for another 2-3 minutes. Serve with Best Ever Ranch Dip.
