Healthy Chocolate Bites. A great guilt free treat!

These bites are so fun! They have a slightly chewy texture and are very satisfying so you don’t worry about eating too many. They don’t call for sugar and are full of good coconut oil. It’s also really fun to try out the different flavors!

Healthy Chocolate Bites

Ingredients

¼ cup coconut spread
2 Tbs. coconut oil
2 Tbs. honey, agave or maple syrup
1 Tbs. cacao
desired flavor (we like peppermint essential oil, orange essential oil or a dash or two of cayenne pepper. Just make sure your oils are food grade! We use Butterfly Express) We use 2-3 drops of oil for one batch.

Directions

In a sauce pan on the lowest heat possible combine all ingredients except desired flavoring. Stir continuously until all melted with no lumps. Acting quickly add desired flavor, stir and quickly add to candy molds or a greased very small glass pan. Freeze to harden.

These Bites would be really cute for a little treat platter for a party or as a gift.

These look good! 🙂 I might try using pure stevia extract instead of syrup for a low glycemic version… Thanks for sharing!
